I’m Craig, the accountant behind Ledgertime. People tell me all the time that I’m not a typical accountant. For a start, I have a sense of humour ;-)
I take my work very seriously, but I still enjoy a good chuckle with my clients. After all, it’s good
for you.
My path into (tax) accounting was far from normal. Starting in hospitality, moving into the casino industry and then into policing in the Northern Territory, and then again back into the casino industry after moving back to Adelaide. (Easy and straightforward, right?)
You could say ‘How did you end up as an accountant?” Well, it turns out my former lives bring a unique skill base to what I do. I understand people. I can communicate with a large, diverse range of backgrounds and cultures. I see the problems and issues faced by individuals and businesses as we progress through life.
Over the years I’ve built many long-term meaningful relationships with my clients. Seeing them grow and succeed, personally and professionally gives me tremendous joy.
